For more than 55 years, NAWIC has helped women take advantage of the opportunities in construction. Whether you want to embark on a new career, grow your business, establish a reliable networking base, become a mentor/mentee, make a difference in your community, continue your education, or invest in great friendships with other women in the industry NAWIC offers a variety of opportunities — large and small.

NAWIC Chapter 392 is based out of the Twin Ports/Iron Range area of MN and encompasses Northern Minnesota. First formed in 2021, our chapter is now about 40 members strong and growing. Our mission is to support and encourage the growth of the number of women in the construction industry through scholarships and educational opportunities.
With your membership, you'll have the ability to network with dozens of women and attend regular meetings and professional development workshops.

Membership Types
ACTIVE
Open to women who are actively employed in the construction industry for a minimum average of 20 hours per week.
STUDENT
Open to female students enrolled in a construction-related higher education program. Students cannot vote or hold office.
CORPORATE
A transferrable membership in which a company can elect to be represented by one female employee per membership purchased, but the member herself could be changed.
RETIRED
Open to retired women from the construction industry. Retired members can serve on committees, but can not vote or hold office.
ASSOCIATE
Open to women who do not qualify for the active membership requirements. Associate members can serve on committees, but can not vote or hold office.
